BF2 1.3 bugs

This is what I have found so far.

Performance is broken,

Went from 60-100fps on karkand to 40-50fps, its a stuttering mess, that is with an X800XT.

Players joining get Disconnected, with a "Your connection to the server has been lost" message.

Exploit: Commmanders dropping humvee's on Helo pads to destroy helo's, dropping the vehicles on unoccupied armour at bases, to destroy armour.

THAT needs to go immediately!!!!!!!

Hit detection is out of the can, hit a standing occupied BTR with 5 SRAW, not even smoking.

Having players shooting at enemy, but killing team mates beyond the enemy.....WTF!

P90 is the new AK101, P90 while prone is FUBAR.

Helo's warping on sharqui.

Players just dropping dead for no reason at all. (no kill message, no DC)

Squad bug is STILL there to a degree, you have to quit out of the menu, and then redo it.

Intermittent bug, could be a contentious issue.
While sprinting, when your stamina bar runs out, your weapon will auto fire without the player pressing his fire button, not a good thing if you are AT and running after your squad.....

AT Rockets still going through APC's........

Distance marker is still showing.

TOW missiles hitting armour, cause no damage at all.

Going down steps the wrong way = instant death.

Players joining the server, but not in game, are displayed on the commander screen in the bottom left quarter.

PP19 one shot kills..... huh.gif

Revive bug still there.

Engineer glitch is now an exploit.

Server instability, multiple crashing.

Logging into account can miss, catch then password invalid back to login.

Server browser broken......still.

Players can continuously fire while jumping a certain way, (haven't recreated yet, but seen it several times)

Grenade bug is still there.

Kill message bug is still there.

Random CTD's with no warning or prior reason.

Players needed to join is borked, had 10 players, server said needed two more, even though all were in game.

If you see anything more, just post it in here, I'll get it to the right people.

That's wonderful. Sounds like a lot of server-side stuff, too - which means we're paying for broken code.

Has EA ever managed to release a patch without causing horrendous collateral damage? This is ridiculous! Last night, my hand was 3 inches away from snatching up BF2 and popping it in the drive, but i stopped myself, tthinking, "No, I better not. I'm gonna wait to see how much crappier EA made this game before trying BF2 again." Behold! The prophecy I had last night has come to pass! How can this thing even pass as a "patch"? Aren't patches meant to fix things? I swear, EA must want to sabotage themselves.

If I were a gamblin' man, I would put $100 on EA pushing the release date on BF2042 a month or two to "make the gaming experience as good as can be, because we value our customers", only the players, to their dismay, will find that the game still needs 3 months of work to offer something that even resembles a fun gaming experience. BF2042 will be rushed to the shelves to draw attention away from the clear failure of any improvement to BF2.

I want EA to release Spore, and then fade away into the oblivion of poor customer satisfaction.

not a bug but a thing that doesnt make sense: criteria for sharpshooter medal: all expert badges and 400h total played, it's a joke because you need to play at least 600h to get all the expert badges....

Good point TAK.

I think the AA missles locking onto you at the TV station is a major issue. You just cant take off if somebody is on the Hotel AA.

Also I had a big where I could not spawn. This is new for me. I was about to medic Nem when I die for no reason. It didnt show in the banner. It said I would spawn in 0 seconds. I never respawned until the game ended. ALso Nem has some screenshots of me in this sisuation.   :-\
