here i went and found my cd and all.. downloaded the patch and all... and retrieved my account so i culd play with u fellas... but the game dont let me play... it loads the map and then pb kicks me and says inadequate o\s something, something... tryd updateing pb.. but didnt help much... so im running vista... any one know how to go around this? or do i have to get xp next time im at the store?

Well, after some issues getting an account I'm up and playing. Maybe it's just me, but the maps seem a little confusing. What's the point?

1. Work as a team.
2. Communicate with your team. They'll help you figure out the maps and learn the objectives.
3. Situational awareness is critical. Don't just pan the ground level. You have to keep an eye on the sky above and the levels below.

new bf2 patch for the three year anniversary is coming soon and its not all bug fix probs we may get some new weapons or maps

I wish someone would lol! I played singleplayer for several hours, just trying to understand the flow. Got on my first multi-player map last night and spent 45 minutes spawning, move for three seconds, get fragged by some air unit. Frustrating.

Oh, and what is the ES server IP?

Well, I played for another couple hours last night. Better results... somewhat. For the first hour I was in a pretty good squad, with decent leadership. Then things just kind of fell apart. Everyone would spawn and grab a vehicle of some kind and leave me standing there lol. I got tired of that and just played sniper. Got on a building really high and popped people in the head. Until they started raining arty on me. Oh well.

infantry only is good for team work and theres no arty
