Aion

Anybody tried Aion?

I've started a Ranger and quite like it. Playstyle is somewhere between Lineage II and Warhammer.

And you get to fly!

Some of our WoW guild tried it; most came back, some are still with Aion.

According to my son, who is a WoW nut, the issue with Aion is there is as of yet no high-end content. No uber guilds, no raiding, etc.

This is one of the reasons I like it. Much like Warhammer, players are mostly polite, ready to help, and forgiving of mistakes. It's also visually very nice. The ability to personalize your character is practically infinite... think Oblivion. Everything down to the length of your earlobes if you so choose.

The game world is stunning frankly. Particularly on my Alienware lappie.
